Any time we are chosen by a client to be a part of their wedding day, it is always a complete and total honor. This year, we had the honor of being there for one of our own. Jessica is our Director of Sales and Lead Wedding Coordinator here at L&L Events. She is usually the one working closely with our couples to get the details and set up for their big day, working behind the scenes with the vendors and coordinating a seamless, stress free event. When she joined our team here at L&L Events a little over a year ago, her planning was already well underway. She had taken over the wedding planning reigns (which her fiance happily handed over – after all, this is what she does for a living) and came to us with her vision: Elegant Garden Wedding in Gold and Plum.

We were excited to provide some gorgeous decor elements that added elegance to the stunning natural garden backdrop.

2015 In Review

WOW! Not much else comes to mind when we think about the incredible year 2015 was. We worked with some amazing clients and friendors to produce some fabulous events. Wondering what kept us busy? Here is a wrap up of what our team  produced in 2015: 14 Weddings, 5 Quinceañeras, 3 Holiday Parties, 18 Banquets, 2 Bat/Bar Mitzvahs, 4 Concerts, 1 Dance Recital and 2 Comedy Shows. We also completed a mini renovation of our venue Foyer and Grand Ballroom (photos to come soon – I promise!). To top it off we just learned that we are a recipiant of the 2016 Couples Choice Awards from WeddingWire! What does that mean exactly?

Maria & Antontio 5.2.15 Recap

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for Maria & Antonio’s Special Day! Their outdoor ceremony was held under the oaks on our lawn here at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center. Following the ceremony, guests were invited into our lobby for cocktail hour prior to the reception. Our ballroom was dressed to the nines with elegant draping and lighting, and all white linens and decor filled the space. There was even a modern lounge area! The guests enjoyed some delicious food as well. Some of the items on the menu were Caprese Skewer (passed hors d’oeuvre), Chicken Marsala, Mashed Potato Martini Bar, Pasta Station (guests picked the ingredients and it was made fresh just for them!), and a Dessert Display instead of a traditional wedding cake. The dessert display featured Mini Flan, Cheesecake Bites and Guava Pastries….to name a few. The guests partied all night and the day was perfect from beginning to end. It was such a pleasure to work with this lovely couple and their family on their big day. Congratulations again Maria & Antonio!
